MINI has always been a byword for an instantly recognizable appearance. This uniqueness lives on in the shape and contours of the MINI Clubman. The MINI Clubman increases versatility while still maintaining the same soul as the rest of the MINI line. With its wide track, longer wheelbase, clubdoor, rear split door design and the classic bulldog stance; this MINI truly is something new.
The MINI Cooper S Clubman makes sure you'll feel as safe as home − anywhere, anytime. High-quality safety equipment equips the MINI Clubman to combat the dangers of the road. Automatic Stability Control + Traction (ASC+T), prevent the front wheels from spinning, guaranteeing ideal starting conditions and plenty of traction. Optimum light on straights and bends alike − thanks to the optional bi-xenon headlights which adapt to the direction of the road. Optimum braking behavior in any situation is ensured by four disc brakes, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard and Cornering Brake Control (CBC). Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) manages the balance of the braking force between front and rear axle. Brake Assist speeds up the process, enabling maximum braking pressure and thus minimizing the braking distance. A MINI Clubman never has that deflated feeling – thanks to Runflat Tires with emergency running properties. The reinforced side walls allow you to drive up to 150 km at maximum of 80 km/h, even with complete tire pressure loss.
The MINI Clubman has six airbags as standard: driver and passenger airbags protect the head and upper body during a head-on collision. Side and head airbags reduce the risk of injuries to the head, chest and pelvic regions during side-on impact. "Complete all-around protection" is the guiding principle for the MINI Clubman chassis construction. The rigid collapsible steering column acts as a protective shield, providing optimum protection in the case of impact from the front, rear and side or when the car rolls over.
