BMW/MINI Grand River - Construction Blog #9
The Latest...
Here is the latest from our new site:
The roof is water tight now over everything but the MINI portion. We are looking to have it completed in the next week, allowing us to work exclusively inside all winter.
The glass is mostly complete now on the BMW Showroom, with the MINI showroom set to arrive on December 21st, we are pushing to have it in before Christmas as well. The reception glass will start next week as well. Windows are in, overhead doors are on, and Kitchener Utilities dropped by yesterday to turn on our gas, so the building is now heated for the winter.
The landscapers have left the site until spring when they will finish small shrubs and mulch. Inside the building the electricians from Conestoga Electric and the mechanical contractor Conestoga Mechanical are working away roughing in outlets, data jacks, HVAC and plumbing. Our drywallers are also busy finishing up the studding for interior walls and offices on both the first and second floors.
All in all we are moving along nicely and should be good for an April opening fingers crossed!
